History

Early years and innovation:

  • 2003: Nobile makes its first prototype of a kiteboard using snowboard technology.
  • 2004: The first kiteboards under the brand name Nobile are produced, emphasizing quality and performance, based on the "Human Concept" philosophy.
  • 2005: Nobile introduces a complete board collection with two models: 666 and 555. They introduce innovations such as Elliptical Progressive Concave, 3D Construction, and Hydrodynamic Rocker Line.
  • 2006: Nobile introduces the world's first 100% snowkite board with patented Snake Transition technology.
  • 2007: Introduction of the Integrated Footpad System (IFS) for greater comfort and functionality.
  • 2008: Nobile expands with kites (555 and NHP), a control bar, and a fulcrum with the world's first 100% molded Quick Release.

Technological advancement and expansion:

  • 2010: Pre-Stress technology is introduced as an evolution of 3D Construction for lighter, more durable, and stiffer boards.
  • 2011: The Infinity, a durable and light waveboard with a 100% wood core, is introduced.
  • 2012: Nobile introduces the "Click&Go" system for tool-free mounting of fins and IFS Pro footpads with shock-absorbing air chambers.
  • 2013: Introduction of splitboards and carbon kiteboards for more comfort and convenience while traveling.

Awards, new products, and sustainability:

  • 2014: The RC2000 Snowkite wins the ISPO Award for best snowkite in the world.
  • 2015-2019: Nobile works on W-Connection technology, introduces travel-friendly hydrofoil solutions, a new Comforty Bar, improved IFS footpads, carbon wings, and the world's first split hydrofoil twin tip.
  • 2020-2024: Nobile introduces new product lines such as the Ocean Drive Collection, the Game Changer wakestyle board, the NT5 beginner board, the Control Stick bar, the One lightwind kite, the EZ Bar, and focuses on sustainable production with its own board factory.

This product, among others, makes our brand unique on a global scale and is appreciated and used by kitesurfing enthusiasts all over the world. The Nobile Split board allows air travel without extra sports luggage, as it folds to fit into a regular travel bag. Additionally, we offer a full range of kitesurfing products, providing users with a complete selection of water sports gear.
